The Basic Secrets For Fast Muscle Gain
There are many things we can do to have our muscles to grow as fast as we want them to. some people may find that it is harder than they thought and usually it is a reason for that. You basically have to know some tricks that will make your muscle building much easier and more efficient and you will be surprised instead on how fast you are bulking up.
So what are the secrets?
First of all, train your mind. This may seem a bit weird to some but I promise you, if your mind is not focused on muscle gain you will become sloppy and start to miss out on doing your training properly. Remind yourself over and over again what your goal is and keep your focus on that. Imagine how good it will feel to have the body you have dreamed of etc. If you are not interested in bulking up, then what’s the point? Make sure it is something you do because you want to do it, make it fun. You will start to include more and more things into your lifestyle that will be of great aid when you are to gain muscles.
Alright then, so you are focused and motivated, you know what you want. What then is the fastest way to success from here? Now you have to have a good training technique to get the most out of the
hours spent in the gym. Make sure you train with intensity. No use to spend long hours at the gym – you are better off spending 30-45 minutes each time and work out hard this time. The fewer reps the better in general if you are after big muscles. After you have done a set of 6-8 reps you should not be able to make another one, this is how heavy the weights should be to maximize the results.
Another important aspect that you want to bring to your lifestyle is to eat properly. If you don’t have the right building blocks for your muscles they won’t be able to grow. Eat food that are high in protein, a good idea is to add a few protein shakes to your diet each day. You also want to increase the amount of calories you eat every day and with a few extra protein shakes to your daily diet, this will be taken care of easily.
Last and also important is to sleep properly every night. Make sure you get a good amount of sleep, 7-8 hours at least. This is the time when your muscles grow the most and if you make sure you have a good rest you make it easier for the body to do its thing and repair and build up the muscle tissue in your body.

You make some great points here Jason. I find that one of the biggest mistakes people make (myself included) is to just focus on the training aspect and forget to eat more. I like your idea of using protein shakes. You can also experiment with weight gainer products and see if they help you get more calories as well.
Great points Jason.
I just stumbled across your blog and I just had to leave a note.
What I tell my clients is basically the same stuff. You need work on your mental strength, and you need guidelines to follow.
No matter what program you’re doing, there will always be “ups and downs”, and without a plan and goals to follow, you won’t succeed. That’s probably the most important point, I mean, a lot of programs out there work, but what separates people who succeed to those who fail is that those who succeed have one hell of a will!
My Burn Fat at Home program focuses on short and intense workouts (quality rather than quantity) based around bodyweight and free weight training, just like you said.
As the saying, six pack abs are made in the kitchen, and that’s definitely true. People tend to know this, but it is definitely something that can (and should) get better.
Sleep is definitely underrated. To recover and get the best results, you need to get a good amount of sleep, that’s just the way it is!
Great post Jason. Keep it up!
All the best,
Jonas
Hi there.
My name is Michael from the Philippines, 18 years of age. I don’t know if you know my country. I’ve been in the Gym for at least 4 months now and I’m not satisfied with my results. I’ve been working out 6 times a week since i started working out in the Gym and i overstressed my muscles because i think it’s the fastest way to gain some muscles . I’ve been searching also the net for 4 months to get some tips about body building but I’m not convinced with the articles and there are lot’s of them. I find it hard of which articles should i follow. I was wondering if you could give me some tips or workout routines that i must follow (the weight that i will lift, the programs, the repetition and also the time to rest) so that i can stick to them and guide me in working out my muscles. It’s my ultimate dream to become a model to get for a living.

Hi Michael,
Jason here
That’s great that you have a dream of becoming a model and to gain a
muscular body. I’m sure that you can make it!
I will gladly share with you some advice and some ideas that can help you
on your path. I agree, there are many articles and lots of often contradictory
advice in them.
There’s something to understand when it comes to moving towards our dreams, this is, it is that each and everyone has their own path towards their goals!
That’s important. You have to really find out what you believe will work for you to get the body you are dreaming of. If you sift through the data and you find
something that rings true for you, something that feels good and that you
believe will have the ability to bring you towards your body, then go for that!
Even though I have some advice on my blog about my favorite techniques, this
is simply what I found works for me. However, it can be very useful to follow
advice from those that actually have a muscular body, after all, you’ll know that that path, if followed will bring about a lean, muscular body.
You said that you were working out 6 times a week, if I understood you correctly you’re taking it easier now
that’s great! Body needs to rest in your
sessions. I always recommend 48 hours rest after working on one muscle group.
If you don’t let your muscles rest, they won’t have the energy to build new
muscle tissue and so, you actually gain less.
My best advice is that you work out intensly when you’re at the gym, and then
let your body rest. Also getting good amounts of protein is important.
I’d be happy to stay in touch with you! Let me know how you are
progressing and I’ll be happy to give you more advice.
Good Luck!
Jason
Hello Jason
I am 20 and from england I have been doing weights for a few years and transformed myself quite a lot from what I used to be
However I want to step it up a lot and have just been browsing your site looking at different exercises, really helpful with some brilliant tips
I was just wondering whether I can alternate different exercises, say shoulder press and arm curls, on different days to give my muscles the time needed to heal themselves
So say on monday I did Shoulder Press and Plank then on tuesday I did Arm curls and Sit ups would that of allowed my deltoids to heal enough?
Thanks
Jason
Hi, Jason.
I would not recommend such a tight schedule to be honest with you. Your body does need to rest to be able to recover and if you are looking for muscle gain that lasts it’s better to work out in a way that makes it possible for you to sustain the results.
Of course, to train two days in a row every once in a while is not the end of the world but to do it for long is not at all recommended. Actually you’ll gain more muscles if you let your body rest.
good luck and feel free to get back to me if you have any other questions.
